A post that I've read and find it meaningful..
Do you know why you have to yell when you are talking if you are angry? It is because
when you are angry with someone, that's when his/her heart is at a distance which is very far away from yours. So, you'd think that only by raising your voice, then the other party can "hear" you.I read this from a book somewhere.
So, does screaming on top of your lung help in situation like this? Of course not.
We instinctively react to loud words or scolding either by retaliating in a similar fashion or by instantly darting into a hair-standing defensive mode. How much are you "listening" when you are in these states?
When you are arguing and shouting, you are using a lot of strength and a lot of energy. You are using so much physical power that you forget to use your "heart".
If you remember to use your heart; if you remember to use your heart to communicate with the other party; if you remember to use your heart to connect with his/her heart, you don't need to raise your voice to get your message across.
If you remember to use your heart to speak, you find that not only you don't need to scream, the distance between his/her heart and yours is actually not that far apart.
Speak with your heart and listen closely with your heart. Source : http://yuhoudexinqing.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2008-06-21T16%3A02%3A00%2B08%3A00&max-results=7
